In his postdoctoral work, Manuel is focusing on the use of robots in road traffic with the aim of increasing safety, in particularly for vulnerable road users (VRU). Application scenarios include the combination of Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) and robotics. His research is part of the Real World Lab Initiative , which aims to develop new interaction technologies and conduct experiments for and in realistic scenarios.
