Mohammad Khoshkdahan is a PhD student in the Cooperative Autonomous Systems (CAS) group at KIT. His research focuses on developing robust perception systems for autonomous vehicles and robots to enhance safety for vulnerable road users (VRUs). Currently, he is working on a traffic moderator robot designed to improve urban mobility.
Before joining KIT, he was a Student Researcher at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he conducted fairness analysis for pedestrian detection models and developed multi-sensor systems for automated 3D pose estimation. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and a Bachelor’s degree from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic).
