Dr. Maximilian Schrapel

Maximilian researches at the intersection of cooperative autonomous systems and vulnerable road users (VRU) in intelligent, interconnected environments. His research is part of the Real World Lab Initiative, where novel V2X demonstrators are being developed to conduct experiments in realistic scenarios. He specializes in Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS) and connected e-bikes. In nationally and internationally funded research projects, he designs innovative solutions to enhance road safety and efficiency.
