The Cooperative Autonomous Systems Research Group at the AIFB Institute is leading the way in innovation for connected and autonomous vehicles. Our mission is to leverage the latest technologies to enhance road safety and shape the future of mobility. This is your chance to dive into exciting research, work with the latest technologies, and make an impact. We’re looking for a passionate Student Assistant to join us!
What You’ll Do:

Get hands-on with hardware: Work with robots (e.g., TurtleBot4, Pal Robotics ARI and TiAGo) and assemble cutting-edge components.

Implement Deep Learning algorithms directly on the hardware.

Collect real-world data to advance our research.

Extend software components using Python, or ROS(2).

3D print parts for hardware components as needed.
What We’re Looking For:

Motivated, Independent, and curious individuals with a passion for new technologies.

Proficient in Python programming (or eager to improve).

Knowledge of basic hardware components—or the willingness to learn.

Good English communication skills to collaborate effectively.
